Welcome Back, Ertürk Varol

We are delighted to announce that Ertürk Varol has rejoined the Defne family in 2025 as our new Chief Operations Officer.

Ertürk is no stranger to Defne. Over the course of 18 years, he held various leadership roles within our software development, technical support, and solutions departments, significantly contributing to the growth and resilience of our operations. For the past 6 years, he has been leading operations and support teams at a cybersecurity company, where he was responsible for both the coordination of technical units and the sustainability of service quality.

Ertürk holds a degree from the Faculty of Business Administration at Anadolu University. He completed his master’s degree in Engineering Management at Marmara University, equipping him with a rare blend of technical and managerial acumen.

In his new role as COO, Ertürk will be responsible for developing and executing Defne’s operational strategies, coordinating cross-functional teams across software development, technical support, customer services, and project management, analyzing and optimizing internal workflows for efficiency, driving operational excellence to enhance customer satisfaction, monitoring and reporting operational performance in alignment with our corporate growth targets, managing the integration of new technologies and systems, and fostering cross-departmental collaboration and organizational alignment.

We are truly excited to have Ertürk back with us, bringing a wealth of experience, vision, and leadership to our next chapter of innovation and growth.
