Defne Welcomes Birkan Arda Malkoç

We are pleased to welcome Birkan Arda Malkoç, who recently joined our team as a software engineer.

Birkan was born on August 15, 2001, in Derince, a district of Kocaeli, Türkiye. His passion for reading, which began in his early school years, laid the foundation for his curiosity and love of learning. This inquisitive spirit later shaped his wide-ranging interests and ultimately led him to the field of computer engineering.

After graduating from Körfez Science High School, Birkan continued his academic journey at Kocaeli University, where he studied Computer Engineering. From the moment he began university, his fascination with software development deepened. He focused on both the theoretical and practical aspects of programming, gaining proficiency in several programming languages and working on various software projects. Along the way, he also developed a strong interest in abstract mathematics, which enhanced his problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.

Beyond his technical pursuits, Birkan is passionate about world cultures, geography, and social sciences. His desire to solve problems in the software development process remains one of his strongest motivations, pushing him toward advanced knowledge in application development and system design.

Looking ahead, Birkan aspires to contribute to larger-scale software projects and deliver innovative solutions to the tech world. Keeping up with emerging technologies, solving complex problems, and building meaningful applications are among his top personal and professional goals.
