Defne's "Bulk SMSC" Launched in Ncell

Ncell, the leading mobile network operator in Nepal, signed an agreement with Defne to lease its "Bulk SMSC" solution for nine months. According to the agreement, Ncell will utilize Defne's solution for high MT SMS traffic demanding services like "Missed Call Notice".

The Bulk SMSC solution provides an SMPP interface to third party applications; and third party applications can send SMS to subscribers. The difference between standard SMSCs and Defne's solution is that Defne's Bulk SMSC is designed to send high volumes of SMS without utilizing any other SMSC in the network. Defne's solution gives high quality service to Ncell with its 200 TPS capacity.
