Oguz Haliloglu

Oguz Haliloglu serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Defne. From its foundation till March 2020, Haliloglu led the execution of Defne’s business activities and corporate operations as CEO.
Haliloglu brings over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, as an entrepreneur, technologist and executive. Prior to founding Defne, Haliloglu held Telecom Solutions R&D Director position at Time, Inc.
Haliloglu holds a bachelor degree from Bogazici University in Istanbul.
Halit Deniz

Deniz was responsible for all financial and corporate matters of the company, including financial and management reporting, financial planning and analysis, legal and HR functions.
Deniz brings over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, as an entrepreneur, technologist, and executive. Prior to founding Defne, Deniz held the technical position at Time Bilgi Islem.
Deniz holds a bachelor degree from Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul.
Mutlu Bakacak

Mutlu Bakacak serves as the Chief Marketing Officer of Defne. Bakacak is responsible for the definition and execution of sales and marketing activities of Defne’s innovative solutions globally. He leads Defne’s sales and marketing teams in strategic business development to identify and drive targeted areas of product and footprint growth with direct customers, partnerships and distribution channels
Bakacak brings over 20 years of sales, marketing and management experience at leading companies in the telecommunications industry, including Eagle Mobile in Albania and Vodafone in Turkey.
Bakacak holds an MBA degree with a double major in Marketing and Management from Yeditepe University in Istanbul, Turkey. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in Turkey.
Ercan Fincan
CTO

Ercan Fincan serves as the Chief Technology Officer of Defne. Fincan is responsible for the definition and implementation of all of the phases of the company’s successful software development lifecycle, including research, design, development, customization and testing.
Fincan brings a wealth of management, R&D and technology experience in the telecommunications industry, including at companies like Siemens Telecommunication Systems and Sanor Bilisim.
Fincan is currently attending the Ph.D. program in Information Technology at the Istanbul Technical University (ITU) in Turkey. He holds a Master of Science degree in Electronics and Telecommunication and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from ITU.
