As we are getting closer to our 20th anniversary, we have seen the telecoms industry transform from basic voice services to convergence and multi-play through the proliferation of new technologies, services and business models. Throughout this evolution, innovative value added services that enhance the personalization and communications life style of subscribers have played a significant role in the successful growth of communications service providers (CSP).
Established in 1996, Defne has organically grown to where it is today, and I am proud to say we are now a global organization with employees in three continents, who are supporting more than 500 million subscribers across the world with innovative solutions and exceptional services.
I see an exciting journey ahead of the telecommunications sector and Defne. We are at the edge of continuous innovation where new services and technologies such as cloud, network functions virtualization (NFV), 4G/LTE, big data and the Internet of Things (IoT) are being rapidly adopted. At Mobile World Congress 2015 during March 2-5, we have seen increased emphasis on 5G, Machine-to-Machine (M2M), smart wearables, smart cities and almost ‘smart everything’.
Looking ahead, we know for sure that the communications landscape will continue to transform. Despite these ongoing changes though, one thing remains the same - the key to success always depends on the customer experience, satisfaction and driving revenue! Since our foundation, our number one priority has been and will continue to be to support the on-going success of our CSP customers and partners with innovative solutions that enhance subscriber experience and satisfaction while generating new revenue channels.
At the MWC 2015, we introduced our latest products - VAS Monitoring solution that enables operators to increase quality of service and customer satisfaction, and Consent Management solution that manages mobile subscriber consent and helps development of an authorized opt-in database. These new innovative solutions demonstrate the strength and capability of our software offering to support new market needs and strategies. In addition to new products, we continue to enhance our existing solutions with features that address niche market requirements and our customers’ growth strategies.
In the past few months, we were able emphasize Defne’s commitment and ongoing customer support services in multiple new contract and successful deployment press releases and articles. Stay tuned for more that are on the way! These significant achievements reflect the great work we have done for our customers so far and sets the stage for Defne to continue our growth, expand our global footprint, and solidify our position as the innovative value added services (VAS) software provider of choice to mobile operators around world.
